Up for auction is a World War Two British khaki map case with 4 maps, belonging to Squadron Leader Frederick Ernest Baker, who was involved with the D-Day Landings (Operation Neptune) during planning and execution on June 6th 1944. The map case is initialed inside "F E B", with four maps inside each measuring 24.5 x 19.5 inches in size. The maps detail the D-Day invasion, and are as follows:

1. British Military Map of St. Aubin France with codename "Cairo" and code names on towns such as "Tunis, "Hamburg" and "Vienna". The beach heads are named Peter, Queen and Roger, with upper "NEPTUNE BIGOT TOP SECRET COPY No ......" Based on Edition of Jul 1943 Map

2. British Military Map of St. Aubin France without codenames, Third Edition April 1944
3. British Military Map of Dozule France (Normandy) with codename "Olso", marked "Bigot Top Secret" with code names for towns, including "Calcutta", "Brazil" and "Iceland", Based on Edition of August 1943 Map.
4. British Military Map of Dozule France (Normandy), dated March 1944 Second Edition
